Awestruck Tech ("we", "us", "our") developed FinBud ("the App"), a personal finance manager, expense tracker, and budgeting tool. FinBud is designed to work entirely offline and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or financial data to us or to any third party. This page explains exactly what that means.
1. No Data Collection
FinBud does not collect any personal information. Specifically, the App:
- Does not require or offer any account creation or sign-in (no Google Sign-In or any other login).
- Does not connect to the internet to transmit your data anywhere — all features work fully offline.
- Does not display ads, and does not include any advertising SDK.
- Does not use analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking tools of any kind.
- Does not connect to your bank accounts, cards, or financial institutions, and never asks for bank login credentials.
- Does not share, sell, or transmit any data to us, to Awestruck Tech, or to any third party.
2. Your Data Stays On Your Device
All information you enter into FinBud — transactions, amounts, dates, descriptions, categories, and budgets — is stored only in local storage on your own device. We never receive a copy of it, and we have no way to access, view, or recover it. If you uninstall the App or clear its storage, this data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored by us, since we never had it.
3. Permissions
FinBud does not request any special device permissions beyond what's needed to run as a standard offline Android app. It does not request internet access, storage/media access beyond its own app sandbox, location, contacts, or any other sensitive permission.
4. Children's Privacy
Because FinBud collects no information from any user, it does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or any other age group.
5. Your Data, Your Control
Since all data lives only on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can view, edit, or delete any entry directly within the App, or remove all data at once by uninstalling the App.
6. Changes to This Policy
If FinBud's data practices ever change (for example, if a future version adds an optional online feature), we will update this policy first and reflect that change with a new "Last updated" date before the change takes effect.
